Gabriela Gomez is responsible for loan processing and assists with all aspects of Sandstone Capital’s operations. Prior to Sandstone, Ms. Gomez worked at Bank of America from 2011 to 2015 as a foreclosure specialist and relationship manager. Additionally, Ms. Gomez has had extensive experience working for various real estate offices in Los Angeles as a processor for loan modifications. Ms. Gomez received her B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from Mount Saint Mary University. Ms. Gomez is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Elaine Burkow is Controller for Sandstone. Elaine joined Sandstone in 2006 bringing an extensive background in real estate financial management to the team. She is currently responsible for cash management, banking and investor relations, financial reporting, accounting software systems, and human resources/payroll/benefit activities. In addition to providing Real Estate Financial Management, Consulting and Support for companies like Grubb & Ellis, Cushman & Wakefield, Charles Dunn and Aames Financial, Ms. Burkow also served five years as CFO for Global Integrity Realty Corporation.

David Garcia is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for Sandstone. David joined Sandstone in 2003 and oversees all aspects of Sandstone’s operations inclusive of acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, asset and property management functions. Prior to joining Sandstone, Mr. Garcia held management positions at Kilroy Realty Corporation and The Voit Companies. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business from Loyola Marymount University and an MBA in Real Estate & Corporate Finance from the University of Southern California.

Joseph A. Pope is the Chief Operating Officer of Sandstone Capital, where he is responsible for the Management and growth of the loan portfolio, as well as investor relations. Mr. Pope oversees loan originations, underwriting and servicing, while concentrating on business development and the strategic growth of the company. Mr. Pope has held a California Real Estate License since 1993 and various management and executive roles with a real estate investment firm in Woodland Hills, where he grew and managed all aspects of their real estate portfolio. Prior to this, Mr. Pope was Vice President of MRA & Associates, a professional real estate and mortgage company. He has also consulted for various mortgage and real estate brands, including WMC, Century 21 & Re/Max. Mr. Pope holds a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University in Chicago and brings over 25 years’ experience in Real Estate sales, analysis & valuation, as well as mortgage financing.

Eri Kroh is Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sandstone Properties. As an experienced investor, manager and developer, his diverse portfolio includes office, retail, industrial, hotel and multi-family properties. Eri has been at the helm of Sandstone’s immense growth since its founding. A native of Israel, Mr. Kroh worked as an electronic engineer in both Israel and the United Kingdom before emigrating to the United States in 1986 where he launched a successful medical laser distribution company. Nearly a decade later, Kroh decided to reinvest the money he earned from his MedTech company to pursue his passion for real estate and in 1994 he purchased Sandstone’s first property. What began as a side project became his full-time focus and has since grown into a $650MM endeavor. His innovative approach and extensive expertise in operations, leasing, finance, investment management, acquisitions, dispositions and development have delivered solid returns for Sandstone’s investors.
